About Us

Bill Yates, "the Guru of Pace of Play," has made a commitment to helping golf courses deliver quality play to every player in every group, day after day. For more than 25 years he has demonstrated that any course can eliminate the problems associated with slow play and give both public and private golfers a smooth, high value playing experience.

Founder of the transformational Pace Manager Systems® suite, Bill has dedicated decades to the analysis of how managers can lower round times, reduce complaints, build player loyalty, and increase revenue. He has worked with more than 150 public, private, municipal and resort courses around the world and has advised management teams at hundreds more. He begins by exploding three Slow Play Myths that keep courses from being successful, and uses his Five Major Factors that Impact Pace of Play™ to examine and improve every area of on-course operation.

With a growing international presence, Bill has been featured in every major golf publication, and he has been a keynote presenter at premiere golf conferences throughout the US and in Europe. He has consulted with the courses at St Andrews in Scotland and has assisted the R&A Golf Club in managing the pace of play for the British Open and Amateur Championships, and the USGA in managing the US Open and the US Women’s Open. Bill's landmark study for the PGA of America was featured in the Feb 2012 issue of PGA Magazine and he was recognized as one of nine ground-breaking innovators in golf by Private Clubs Magazine.
